It is baseball season – I am on the International Visitors Leadership Programme (IVLP) – there is only thing to do in the evenings to unwind and that is baseball!
It was great to take my fellow IVLPs to their first baseball games, enjoy some Kosher hot dogs and introduce to Americans favourite past time – Go Nationals, Twins and Braves!
Harris Bokhari was just one of seven experts, and one of only two Muslims from the UK invited by the United States Department of State to attend their premier International Visitor Leadership Program about “Community Partnership to Counter Violent Extremism, from September 3 – 23rd 2017.

Harris Bokhari chaired Acting Ambassador – Lewis Lukens’s Wychwood House Dialogue on Youth, Diversity and the Future of Work with Youth Workers and Young Activists on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Wychwood House.
